Acrylic is the new sleek and stylish way to display contemporary artwork. The results really are stunning. The cutting-edge technology used can print a very fine dot which achieves photographic quality images, combined with a unique ink set that is capable of producing beautifully vibrant colours.3 options are available - each in 5mm or 10mm acrylic thickness.
ACRYLIC - WHITE BACKING
This process involves printing directly on to the back of the acrylic, followed by a flood of white ink, of which the opacity can be controlled. The results are that the wall colour cannot be seen, but it allows light to pass through helping the image appear illuminated from behind.
The artwork is attached simply to your wall via stainless steel standoffs in each corner.
ACRYLIC - INVISIBLE FIXING
It is now possible to have your acrylic art with invisible fixings. This is basically the same as for the acrylic with white backing but no holes are drilled in the corners. The easy to hang fixing on the rear cannot be seen when hung and clear acrylic spacers are placed at the rear corners.
CLEAR ACRYLIC
A third option is now available which is suitable for hanging on white walls. The back of the acrylic is printed with the image but the flood of white ink is not applied. This option allows light to pass through the artwork creating an effect of coloured shadows on the wall behind.
